Anyway all joking aside, this day was really special for Athena. She felt so proud. She picked out her own outfit making sure it was all blue, one of her school colors. She was so lucky to have her Grandpa and Grandma Rutman make a quick trip out for the event. That was extra important because per my family tradition her grandpa came to her first day of school 10 months earlier. Apparently on that trip grandpa and Athena discussed his return for her last day. I was unaware of that discussion so when graduation day was announced she made sure to call him and remind him of their agreement. So she had a wonderful full circle moment! what a little smarty pants! we love you sweet heart.
