Merry Christmas

One great thing about the kids being sick for Christmas no one woke up early! When they got up we had them come in our bedroom so Tyler could run down stairs to start the Rutman family tradition of listening to A Charlie Brown Christmas to set the mood!

Darius was probably the most excited this morning due to the fact that he had the greatest surprise of them all...We got to open presents! Apparently he was a little confused on what today was when he woke up. When he came in our room this morning he said he was so excited because today was Christmas Eve and Santa was coming! So you can imagine his joy when we reminded him that yesterday was Christmas Eve and Santa had already been here!

Though the kids are still sick they had a great day. We just enjoyed each other's company and played with our new toys! I really enjoyed having such a low key day. We had a beautiful Christmas and hope you did too!
